To all our new students and parents, welcome to the CJA family – we look forward to being part of your lives and watching the growth that happens through the art of jiu-jitsu.

There are smaller other tournament that are optional and we enter students for fun and experience.

The first one of these is the SWD Classic being held in GEORGE on the weekend of 11 – 12 March. (Friday evening and Saturday whole day)

We are once again taking a team of students up – so if you would like to join us on the fun weekend away please let me know soonest. You will be responsible for your own transportation and accommodation.

You have now all met and been taught by this energetic and enthusiastic young man. He has been training since he was 2.5 years old and it is clearly his driving passion.

He matriculated in 2013 at Fairmont High School and was graded to his Black Belt in CJA Jiu-Jitsu in December of 2014.

Dynamic, involved and with a huge passion for children and jiu-jitsu – we are fortunate to have him as CJA full time Instructor.

Besides Jiu-Jitsu, his other passion is motorbikes and he is also currently studying Information Technology Security.

Part of what we do at CJA is to develop students that have potential to become future CJA instructors. The program is called P.A.I.N! [Preparing Advanced Instructors Now!]

This year our program kicked off with our usual day camp and TWELVE brand new cadet instructors – watch as these young students grow and excel at Jiu-Jitsu and become tomorrows’ leaders

That is it for this newsflash – wishing you all a great weekend and see you all soon

Take care

Mike and the Instructor Team

PS Catherine, my amazing and wonderful right hand person here at CJA is looking for extra part-time Book-Keeping work. If you require her awesome skills or know of anyone needing a meticulous money person to help look after their affairs – please pass on her information HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
